Built on the edge of 15th and 16th century in a later-gothic style. Its an entrance to the Gothic 'parkan' - a place between two walls to allow defenders safe movement.

Parkan is an outer part of the castle defence system. Its placed between two walls to allow guards safe walk around the castle.

It enclosed the original romanesque area of the castle. Its one of the oldest part of the castle, from 13th century. During the Renaissance era it was used as a face of new buildings on a courtyard and was break with new big windows

Its an entrance to the main castle courtyard. It was broken through the original romanesque wall in 14th or 15th century. Original entrance to the old castle was next to the big romanesque tower, but was later closed with building a third 'donjon' tower.

The original courtyard was gradually filled up with new buildings - with new gothic palace from 15th century and a set of renaissance buildings enclosed to the original wall.

So called 'chapel' tower, as almost all of its inner space is occupied by a chapel from 13th century. Its the only original romanesque inner area that survived to these days.

Bergfrit - an attack tower that was not supposed to be live in. The oldest part of the castle, from 13th century. At 14th century the room for a guard was built at the top of the tower. From this era you can see there a medieval toilet - 'prevet'

Donjon - a defence tower that served as a dwelling. Its from 14th - 15th century. Its construction enclosed the original entrance to the castle, so a new gate needed to be constructed.

The well at the courtyard is not the original one. The original one was situated at the castle's cellar. But at the end of 16th century was filled up and they created a new one at the courtyard. Its 26m (85ft) deep(

The model shows a disposition of the castle during its oldest times, at the edge of 12th and 13th century.

The oldest entrance to the castle, in the romanesque era, was through the wooden bridge from the south. Later on, after a construction of the donjon tower, it was closed.

The model shows a new disposition of the castle in the 15th century. We can see a huge enlargement of the castle area, with a new donjon tower, new wall lines and service buildings.
