Scene analytics

The Kroscloud Analytics dashboard shows how visitors engage with your published scenes — how many opened them, how long they stayed, which points and panoramas they interacted with, and on what kind of device — all from a privacy-first telemetry pipeline: no cookies, no persistent visitor identifiers, no IP storage, no fingerprinting.

What the dashboard shows

For each of your scenes, on a 30-day rolling window:

What the dashboard does not show

By design, you cannot:

These omissions are deliberate. The same design that prevents per-visitor analysis is what lets you embed the Kroscloud viewer on third-party sites without forcing those sites to add a cookie-consent banner — something most embedded 3D viewers can't offer. See Viewer Data Privacy for the full comparison.

Where to find it

On a Business or Enterprise account, an Analytics item appears in the dropdown menu of every scene tile on your scenes board. Open the dropdown next to a scene's thumbnail and select Analytics — the dashboard opens scoped to that scene.

Data freshness

The dashboard reads per-day aggregate tables refreshed every 15 minutes by a background rollup job, so activity from the last 15–30 minutes may not appear yet. There are no real-time "currently watching" counters.

How is this different from Google Analytics?

Most visitor-analytics products set tracking cookies and read a persistent identifier on every visit. That gives rich per-visitor reports, but it requires the host website to obtain consent under EU ePrivacy / GDPR — which is why most embedded third-party widgets force the host site to show a cookie banner.

Kroscloud Analytics takes the opposite approach: no persistent identifier, no IP storage, no fingerprinting. The trade-off is less granular reporting (no cross-day recognition, no individual journeys), but the embedded viewer can be dropped onto any site without triggering a consent requirement. For most scene owners that's the right trade-off — the metrics that matter (views, dwell time, what visitors clicked) without running a tracker on someone else's website.
