Layers

Layers let you split a model into parts that visitors can show, hide or switch between — for example floors of a building, phases of a restoration, or "before / after" states. The Layers menu is where you create and organise them.

Managing each layer

Ordering

Drag and drop layers to reorder them; the order is saved automatically and the first layer is the default shown to visitors.

How layers behave for visitors

Free accounts have a maximum number of layers. Exceed it and the menu warns you — upgrade or remove the extra layers before publishing.

2D map (tile) scenes

Tile scenes also support layers, but each layer is an uploaded raster image (TIFF, PNG or JPEG) stacked on the map rather than a selection of 3D objects.
